Sheffield station still affected by derailment

Despite Network Rail engineers working throughout the weekend, Sheffield station is still affected by the derailment that happened on Wednesday morning, 11 November 2020.

Five of the station’s platforms are now open, and all of the derailed cement wagons have now been removed, but repairs to track and signalling are ongoing.

Passengers are advised to check before travelling.
